Posey is a Detroit-based artist working primarily in painting. Her work concentrates on social situations and human interaction, explored by representing the interactions themselves, as well as, what gets left behind. She graduated with high honors from the College of Creative Studies in 2009, and has shown her work both locally and nationally, including a solo exhibition at University Liggett in 2012. In addition to being a painter, Posey is also a musician, performing in an inde rock duo.
