Rom

Olisia Rom was born in Siberia, Russia. Both her mother and father were professional artists and art teachers. She resisted the pressures to follow her parents’ artistic paths and decided to study Sociology. Her family relocated to Israel, where Rom studied architecture and eventually computer graphics. After many years of working as an art director for tech companies in Israel, the call to create was

too strong, and she began painting. Rom’s style is hyper-realistic and precise, with delicate and intricate details, giving the viewer a sense of looking at a photograph. She works using mainly live models. Her daughter has become her favorite muse and main modeling subject. Rom’s paintings can be found in private collections of Russia, Israel, Australia, America and many countries of Europe.
